On behalf of the Korean Society for Agricultural Machinery(KSAM), it is my pleasure to invite you to take part in the 9th International Symposium on Machinery and Mechatronics for Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering(ISMAB).

KSAM is honored to host this event in Jeju Island of Republic of Korea during the period of 28~30 May, 2018

Agricultural and biosystems engineering societies are facing with various challenging issues, especially in Asian countries.
Due to rapid reduction of farming population, climate change, competitive global market, and also increased need of agricultural mechanization of neighboring countries, ISMAB member countries need to take instantaneous action to promote both ICT-based smart agriculture for domestic market and development of proper machinery for international market.

We would like to put more efforts to organize the 9th ISMAB so that the member countries can learn from other countries, share experience among member countries, and discuss issues for better future I wish all participants will have an enjoyable time meeting with many friends and outstanding scholars.
